Advanced Challenge

     1. Looked up Bullying and got 6 results. Chose the book Bullying and Harassment by Kathleen Conn. I was really impressed
by the Tools on the right side espcially the Bookmark and Annotate
and of course the Cite feature. I discovered the Search Within tool but then also found that I could just click on each chapter on the left side which seemed to be much easier. I found this site to be fun
to maneuver around on and it would definitly use it to supplement printed material in my library. Could probably use it for both my
Junior High and High School.

     2. For this I put in Fairy Tales and got 82 results before I tried to
refine my search I scrolled down the page and found the books.
The author was Andrew Lang and they consisted of the Violet,
Blue, Yellow and Red Fairy Book.


Common Core Standard:

      Reading Standards for Informational Text 6-12. Integration of
Knowledge and Ideas 9-10: 9  Analyze seminal U.S. documents
of historical and literary significance (e.g., Washington's Farewell
Address, The Gettysburg Address, Roosevelt's Four Freedom's
speech, King's " Letter from Birmingham Jail"), including how
they address related themes and concepts.

     Students will find speeches on EbscoHost and write a paper
analyzing and addressing the requirements of the above Common
Core.
